What causes bleeding hemorrhoids?
The occurrence of bleeding hemorrhoids happens inside the anal tract, generally speaking. Hence, these are known in general as bleeding internal hemorrhoids. Excessive abrasion and strain in the anal tract are the causes and if not treated promptly, can get aggravated. When enlargement of the veins within the anal tract occurs, this condition arises. Blood-clotting within the blood vessel causes this enlargement of the veins- a condition called varicose veins. These veins then, on getting engorged bulge and swell dangerously.
It’s necessary for these veins to get cut and damaged for bleeding to happen however. Everytime you go to the toilet, streaks of blood on your stool becomes noticeable. Bleeding hemorrhoids- indications
Indications of bleeding hemorrhoids would obviously include bleeding and oozing of blood from your excretory tract. The blood that is oozing out will be very fresh and have a bright red color. If you see that the blood coming out is very dark in color then it is an indication of infection further up the anal canal. hemorrhoids then would be an unlikely cause of your bleeding.
Among hemorrhoid patients though, bleeding is common and if the blood loss is severe enough, can actually cause anemia. These indications are very aggravated though and usually the blood loss from hemorrhoids is slight.
